QR code
A QR code (short for Quick Response) is a modern technology that enables fast transfer of information between the offline and online worlds. As the name suggests, a QR code is designed for quick data retrieval. By using a smartphone, the code can be easily scanned, giving the user instant access to specific content—such as a website, social media profile, or online document.
QR codes are also useful for online payments, which can be completed quickly and securely. To scan a QR code, the device must be connected to Wi-Fi or have mobile data enabled. The code usually appears as a square made up of black and white patterns that encode the desired information.
