Export

Export is an economic term that refers to goods and services produced within a country and sold beyond its borders.

For a country, exports represent an opportunity for economic growth. When the volume of exports exceeds the volume of imports, the resulting surplus contributes to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), supporting economic expansion. A strong export sector is thus a key driver of national wealth.

The term export is also used in information technology, where it refers to the process of converting data into another format for further use or sharing.
